Christmas on the Emerald Coast
Posted on December 4, 2013
Christmas is a very special time to live on the Emerald Coast. The calendar is packed with wonderful holiday events, and then balmy weather doesn’t hurt either.
This Saturday, December 7, 2013, kicks off many of the area’s traditional events, including Santa’s arrival to Harborwalk Village, as well as fun runs, including the Luminaria Run to benefit Shelter House out at Baytowne Wharf. You can also enjoy the Destin Craft Fair, a perfect place to pick up unique gifts for those hard to shop for friends and family. One event we know you won’t want to miss is the annual Destin Christmas parade which will take place on December 14, 2014 at 10AM. Line up along Highway 98 to catch all the fun, as well as trinkets and treats from the floats.
If you are looking for a new or unique tradition to enjoy, make your way down to the Destin Harbor on December 15, 2013 after sunset for the annual lighted boat parade. No matter what events you attend near your Northwest Florida home, we know you will have a wonderful time!
