Concerts at the Landing in Fort Walton Beach
Posted on May 20, 2016
If you are buying or selling real estate on Okaloosa Island this summer, be sure to schedule your Friday showings early. You’re going to want to hit the Fort Walton Beach Landing early each week to get a great spot for the return of Concerts at the Landing!
This spring/summer concert series kicked off a few years ago and was an instant community favorite. The event features amazing local and regional bands performing for a few hours each Friday evening beginning at 6PM. The event is incredibly laid back and family-friendly, so grab some friends, and your chairs, and stake out a spot near the stage.
This event is so laid back that they event allow you to pack your own cooler and food. Yes, that even means you can bring your own alcohol, but please do make sure it is not in a glass container or bottle. Don’t feel like lugging a cooler along with your care and items for the kids? That’s cool, too. There are plenty of local restaurants with booths on site who will be happy to provide dinner for you and the family.
You might now be wondering who you can expect to see hit the stage. This week, the Whytecaps take the stage. Next week, you really will want to head out early, as the popular band Continnum will rock the landing. Other acts taking the stage before this event wraps on July 15, 2016 include Jones and Company, Bouku Groove, Three Beach Soup, Shades of Blue, 3HG and New Earth Army. See you there!
