Things To Do in Fort Walton BeachAugust 7, 2015
The Concerts at the Landing may be over, but the fun does not stop in Fort Walton Beach. If you haven’t already done so, venture over to The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island for a thrilling fireworks show. The show begins at 9:00 PM every Wednesday night during the summer. After spending your day researching Emerald Coast real estate, enjoy a delicious meal at The Crab Trap or Rockin’ Tacos. You can enjoy the show from the back deck or walk down onto the beach and watch the sky light up, using the sand as your seat.
Every Friday night until August 28, 2015, you can enjoy a classic film on the lawn of Landing Park. The park is located just a short distance from the Brooks Bridge, and it provides stunning views of the bay. Set up a lawn chair or lay out a blanket and unwind while you enjoy The Movies on the Landing, presented by Downtown FWB. This is a family-friendly event that you are sure to enjoy.
If you are looking into or have just purchased real estate in Fort Walton Beach, then you have even more to look forward to! The Fort Walton Beach Farmer’s Market is held at DeFrance Antiques on the second Saturday of the month. It opens at 8:00 AM and is a great place to grab fresh, locally-grown vegetables, fruits, jellies and soaps.
Some of these events won’t last much longer, so check them out before summer ends!Â
